“Do you love your country?”
Well, sir, “love” is a strong word
I’m grateful for the stars and sky
And this Earth, I truly adore
Yes, I love this land as a mass
Not as another nationality
Not as an American patriot
Guess I’m a frickin’ terrorist
“Do you respect God?”
I respect the ocean,
The mountains, and grasslands, too
But not an imaginary friend
Violins, melodies, rhythmic lyrics
They’re all made by man
Billows, gusts, Burnam wood, wildlife
They’re given by nature and we’re blessed
